Disney’s Searchlight Pictures has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming film, “Flaming Hot “, which is having its world premiere at the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film & TV Festival in Austin, Texas.

“Flamin’ Hot” is the inspiring true story of Richard Montañez, the Frito Lay janitor who channelled his Mexican American heritage and upbringing to turn Flamin’ Hot Cheetos into a snack that disrupted the food industry and became a global phenomenon.

The film stars Jesse Garcia, Annie Gonzalez, Dennis Haysbert, Emilio Rivera, Tony Shalhoub, Matt Walsh, Pepe Serna, Bobby Soto, Jimmy Gonzales, Brice Gonzalez, Vanessa Martinez, Fabian Alomar, Mario Ponce, and Hunter Jones. Eva Longoria has directed it, and it is based on a screenplay that Lewis Colick and Linda Yvette Chávez have written. It has been produced by DeVon Franklin.

“Flamin’ Hot” is premiering on Hulu in the United States on June 9th 2023, and it will also be released on Star+ in Latin America and on Disney+ around the world.
