Disney has announced that five new episodes of the second season of Marvel’s “Spidey and His Amazing Friends” are going to be coming soon to Disney+ in the United States on Wednesday, 22nd November 2023.

Our favourite neighbourhood web-slinger is used to working solo, but now Peter Parker must discover what it takes to become a truly amazing superhero: being a spider friend who works well with others. Together with his friends Miles Morales and Gwen AKA Ghost-Spider, they will team up with heroes such as Hulk, Black Panther and Ms. Marvel, to defeat evil foes and learn that teamwork is the best way to save the day.

The five new episodes include:

  • Hide & Seek/Whale of a Time – Team Spidey and The Thing must stop Gobby from using invisibility to cause trouble in the city. Team Spidey must stop Doc Ock’s mechanical whale from disrupting the real whales.
  • Rollin Rhino/The Octopus and the Kitty Cat – Rhino and Green Goblin plot to ruin a roller-skating race. Black Cat and Doc Ock make an unstoppable team as they commit a lot of trouble.
  • Go With the Lava Flow/An Un-Bee-Lievable Rosh Hashanah – Team Spidey must rescue wildlife after Doc Ock triggers a volcanic eruption. When Gobby steals all the bees, Team Spidey and The Thing must get them back and save Rosh Hashanah.
  • Bootsie’s Haunted Adventure/Too Many Tricks, Not Enough Treats – With help from Bootsie, Team Spidey foils Sandman’s theft of priceless Egyptian artifacts. Team Spidey must save Halloween from Green Goblin and his candy-stealing scarecrows.
  • How To Train Your Doggy/Dome Alone – Gobby and Rhino steal Lockjaw, a teleporting pup, in hopes of making him an accomplice. When Zola traps The Thing, Spidey and Ghost-Spider under a dome, Miles must save the day.

Season two of “Marvel’s Spidey and his Amazing Friends” is executive produced by Harrison Wilcox (“Marvel’s Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest”) and directed by Chris Moreno (Disney Junior’s “Muppet Babies”), who also serves as co-executive producer along with Chris Gilligan (Disney Junior’s “T.O.T.S.”) and Bart Jennett (“Gigantosaurus”). Becca Topol (“Mira, Royal Detective”) is the story editor/co-producer, and Steve Grover (“Hello Ninja”) is the supervising producer. The series is produced by Disney Junior and Marvel Studios in association with Atomic Cartoons.
