Disney has released a brand new teaser trailer highlighting some of the new original programming coming to Disney+ in 2023, which included a first look at the new Star Wars series, “Ahsoka”.

Ahsoka Tano first debuted in the “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” movie, before starring in the animated series of the same name, and appearing in “Star Wars Rebels” and more. The beloved character would then make the jump to live-action in “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett”.

The new series will see Rosario Dawson return in the title role. Set after the fall of the Empire, “Ahsoka” follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy. The new series is being created by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, with Katheleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, Carrie Beck, and Karen Gilchrist are also executive producers on the series.

“Ahsoka” will stream exclusively on Disney+ in 2023. However, no exact release date has yet been announced. Disney has already announced that the second season of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” will debut on Disney+ on January 4th 2023 and the third season of “The Mandalorian” will return to Disney+ on Wednesday 1st March 2023. So this means we will won’t get to see “Ahsoka” in the first half of 2023.
