First Look At New Disney+ Original “Invisible”
Disney has announced that a brand new Spanish series called “Invisible” will be coming to Disney+ later this year. The show has been inspired by the best selling book of the same name.
The series consists of six episodes and tells the story of Capi, a 12-year-old boy with a normal life, who suffers from a terrible accident that causes him severe post-traumatic stress. No one seems to have more information: neither the school, his friends, nor his family can explain what has happened.
However, the psychologist who treats him is willing to dive into his history and discover the reasons that have led him to this situation. Little by little, Capi begins to trust him and tells him that he has the power of invisibility, and that the terrible nightmares that lurk him every night have to do with the monsters and the dragon that haunt him. But in their history, they are not all threats. There is someone who does want to help you: a mysterious teacher, a newcomer to the institute, who will try by all means to make the invisible visible.
Here are some preview photos from the show:
“Invisible” has been directed by Paco Caballero, who has previously worked on “Love of Mother”, “Reyes vs. Santa”, and “Losing the East”. It stars Eric Seijo, along with Aura Garrido, Miki Esparbé, Diego Montejo, Liv Dobner, and Izan Fernández, among others.
The adaptation of the script has been written by Virginia Yagae, Jota Linares, Celia de Molina and Gonzalo Bendala. Marta Velasco (Áralan Films) is an executive producer on the show.
“Invisible” will premiere on Disney+ in Spain on December 13th 2024, and it’s likely that, as with most international originals, it will also be released globally on Disney+.
