Disney has released some first look images of the cast of FX’s upcoming limited series, “Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans”, which is the second installment of Ryan Murphys anthology series “Feud”

The series is an adaptation of Laurence Leamer’s bestselling book Capote’s Women: A True Story of Love, Betrayal, and a Swan Song for an Era, the miniseries is set in the 1970s and ends with Truman Capote’s death in 1984. It chronicles the tale of the famous wunderkind author as he stabs several of his female friends — whom he called his “swans” — in the back by publishing a roman à clef short story called “La Côte Basque 1965” in Esquire in 1975.

The new series stars Naomi Watts as Babe Paley, Tom Hollander as Truman Capote, Diane Lane as Slim Keith, Chloë Sevigny as C.Z. Guest, Calista Flockhart as Lee Radziwill, Demi Moore as Ann Woodward, Molly Ringwald as Joanne Carson and Treat Williams as Bill Paley.

The series has been written by Tony and Pulitzer-nominated Jon Robin Baitz and is also the showrunner on the series. Ryan Murphy, Dede Gardner, Tim Minear, and Alexis Martin Woodall are also returning to produce the series, which is being created by 20th Television, with Plan B Entertainment and Ryan Murphy Productions.

“Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans” is going to be released in early 2024 on FX and Hulu and expect to see it released globally on Disney+.
