Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States from September 2nd, 2024, to September 8th 2024. There are four different charts: Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies, and a combined total chart.

“Family Guy”, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, continues to be a huge draw for viewers on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+, as it topped the most-watched acquired show on the Nielsen streaming chart.

20th Television’s “Prison Break” also continues to pull in viewers following its recent release on Netflix. It is also available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.

This week also saw the release of a brand new reality series, “The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives”, which had a strong debut and has quickly been renewed for a second season.

With new episodes of  “Only Murders In The Building” and “Futurama” arriving on on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ during this week, both of those shows pulled in enough viewers to make it onto the originals chart.

Disney continues to dominate the acquired chart, with more than half of the shows such as “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Prison Break”, “Family Guy”, “Bob’s Burgers”, and “Criminal Minds” on the chart available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+. This also impacts the overall chart, as half of the shows are available on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+.   “Bluey” also continues to be a massive hit for Disney+, and Hulu continues to do well in the overall and acquired charts.
