Hollywood Records has released a brand new episode of “The Big Score”, a Hollywood Records original series, where you’re invited on an exclusive, behind-the-scenes journey inside the minds of some of culture’s most innovative composers in show business. And What’s On Disney Plus readers have an exclusive first look at this episode.

In this latest episode, EmmoLei Sankofa takes us on a captivating journey through the intricacies of her chilling yet comedic score for ‘The Other Black Girl.’ Her innovative use of unconventional instruments, Morse code, and vocal interpretations adds an extra layer of depth to the show’s thrilling and suspenseful soundtrack, leaving audiences hanging on the edge of their seats.

“The Other Black Girl” follows Nella, an editorial assistant, who is tired of being the only Black girl at Wagner Books so she’s excited when Hazel is hired. But as Hazel’s star begins to rise, Nella spirals out and discovers something sinister is going on at the company. It stars Sinclair Daniel, Ashleigh Murray, Brittany Adebumola, Hunter Parrish, with Bellamy Young and Eric McCormack.

The hit series is based on Zakiya Dalila Harris’ best-selling novel, The Other Black Girl is executive produced by Rashida Jones, Adam Fishbach, Zakiya Dalila Harris, Jordan Reddot, Gus Hickey, Tara Duncan, and Temple Hill’s Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey. Jordan Reddout and Gus Hickey also serve as co-showrunners
