Dua Lipa, Chris Martin & Pete Doherty To Feature In New Disney+ Series “Camden”
Disney has announced some of the world’s biggest music acts featured to appear in the upcoming documentary series “Camden”, produced by Lightbox in association with Day One Pictures and Dua Lipa’s production company Radical22, whose lives were changed forever by this tiny part of London.
The series director is Academy-Award-winner Asif Kapadia. Confirmed to feature in the series are Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, Pete Doherty, Mark Ronson, Questlove, Little Simz, Nile Rodgers, Boy George, Yungblud, Black Eyed Peas, Jazzie B, Bob Vylan, Chuck D and Sister Bliss.
The unscripted series will tell the story of how a small corner of North London has changed music as we know it? This evocative series will reveal the extraordinary untold stories of how the lives and careers of many of today’s most iconic music acts were shaped by Camden, alongside some of the careers that were broken by it. With access to some of the biggest music stars in the world whose lives were changed forever by this tiny part of London, this series will finally give Camden the recognition it deserves on a global stage.
The Original series is produced by Lightbox, the production company founded by Academy-Award-winning producer Simon Chinn and Emmy-winning producer Jonathan Chinn in association with Day One Pictures, the production company co-founded by Amy Winehouse’s original manager Nick Shymansky and Radical22. Asif Kapadia is Series Director. Episode directors are Toby Trackman, Yemi Bamiro and co-director Sarah Lambert. Series Producer is Gaby Aung. Executive Producers are Simon Chinn, Jonathan Chinn and Suzanne Lavery for Lightbox, Nick Shymansky, Jasper Waller-Bridge and Ben Friedman for Day One Pictures and Dua Lipa and Dukagjin Lipa for Radical22.
