Disney has announced that the 20th Century Studios film, “Drumline”, is coming to Disney+ in the United States on Friday 7th October, 2022.

A cocky, naturally-gifted snare drummer from Harlem helps his Atlanta College marching band defeat a long-time rival in a Southern battle-of-the-bands.

“Drumline” was originally released in 2002 and is directed by Charles Stone III. The screenplay, which was inspired by the Southwest Dekalb High School Drumline, was written by Tina Gordon Chism and Shawn Schepps. It stars Leonard Roberts, Zoe Saldana, and Nick Cannon.

“Drumline” is already available on Disney+ in some countries.
