It’s the start of a brand new month, which means, unfortunately, in the United States, a small number of titles are removed from Disney+ due to contracts made before Disney purchased 20th Century Fox. And today, the 20th Century Studios film, “Dr Dolittle,” has been removed from Disney+ in the United States, where it has now moved to Starz for a limited time.

The film stars Eddie Murphy, as a successful physician and devoted family man, John Dolittle, who seems to have the world by the tail, until a long suppressed talent he possessed as a child, the ability to communicate with animals is suddenly reawakened with a vengeance! Now, every creature within squawking distance wants the good doctor’s advice, unleashing an outrageous chain of events that turns his world upside down!

Unfortunately, unlike other streaming services, Disney+ does not inform subscribers in advance that a removal is going to be happening. The good news is that “Dr Dolittle” will be returning to Disney+ in the United States at some point in the future and internationally, the film is still available on Disney+.

What do you think of “Dr. Dolittle” being removed from Disney+? Let us know on social media!
