Disney has announced that the comedy series “Dollface” will be coming to Disney+ as a “Star Original”. This new series consists of 10 episodes and has been created by ABC Signature Studios. It debuted in the United States as a Hulu Original in 2019.

The comedy follows a young woman who – after being dumped by her longtime boyfriend – must deal with her own imagination in order to literally and metaphorically re-enter the world of women, and rekindle the female friendships she left behind.

The first episode will arrive on Disney+ in the U.K and Ireland on Friday 5th March, with new episodes dropping weekly each Friday. It hasn’t yet been confirmed if the series will also be a “Star Original” in other countries, as the show has aired in Canada on Crave.

The new “Star Original” Series stars actress Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls/WandaVision), who is also an executive producer along with Creator and Writer Jordan Weiss (Harley Quinn) and Showrunner Ira Ungerleider. Additional executive producers include Margot Robbie, Brett Hedblom and Tom Ackerley for LuckyChap Entertainment; Bryan Unkeless and Scott Morgan for Clubhouse Pictures; Nicole King and Stephanie Laing (Vice Principals).

Hulu has also ordered a second series of the show.
