Dodo Partners With Hulu To Bring Beloved Animal Series To Streaming Platform
The Dodo has announced that it has partnered with Hulu to bring its family-favorite animal series to the streaming platform. Hulu viewers will be able to watch 40 20-minute-long episodes from The Dodo’s series “Comeback Kids,” “Reunited,” “Best Animal Friends,” “Adoption Day,” “Rescued!,” and “First Taste of Freedom.” The partnership expands the mobile-first media brand availability on streaming platforms.
“The Dodo has transformed animal content from a niche vertical into a mainstream passion point with compelling storytelling that resonates with viewers of all demographics,” said YuJung Kim, President of The Dodo. “We are excited to partner with Hulu to bring our family-friendly series into even more homes and continue to foster the next generation of animal lovers.”
Prior to The Dodo expanding its distribution to Hulu, these six series have collectively amassed more than 1.3 billion video views across social media platforms; audiences have spent nearly 40 million hours watching these series centered on deepening the human and animal connection.
The Dodo is a beloved media brand with family-friendly content across multiple platforms. In July 2019, the brand launched “Dodo Kids,” its children-dedicated programming brand to reach families with young children. Dodo Kids has developed numerous children’s series, including “Rescued!” and “Best Animal Friends,” which are now available on Hulu, in addition to a 30-minute, live-action special, “Summer at Home with Toby the Toad,” which premiered on its YouTube channel in June 2020.
