Following the release of the second “Doctor Who” 60th Anniversary special, the BBC has released a teaser trailer for next week’s final anniversary special, which is called “The Giggle”.

In this special, the giggle of a mysterious puppet is driving the human race insane. When the Doctor discovers the return of the terrifying Toymaker, he faces a fight he can never win.

This is the final special that has seen David Tennant return as The Doctor, along with Catherine Tate as Donna Noble.  “The Giggle” also stars Neil Patrick Harris as the Toymaker.

In the next special, we will see the introduction of Ncuti Gatwa as the Fifteenth Doctor, who will get the keys to the TARDIS, ahead of his first festive special on Christmas Day.

The first two 60th Anniversary “Doctor Who” specials are available to stream now on BBC iPlayer in the UK and on Disney+ around the world. “The Giggle” will be released on Saturday 9th December 2023 at 18:30 pm (UK) / 10:30 PT / 13:30 ET.
