Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States for the week of 9th October 2023 through 15th October 2023. There are four different charts, Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies and a combined total chart.

The latest Marvel Studios series, “Loki”, continues to pull in audiences on Disney+.  With the release of the last season of “The Simpsons”, the show had a boost of viewers, to put the show back onto the acquired series chart.  As per usual, the popular Australian animated series, “Bluey” continues to pull in audiences for Disney+, on both the overall and acquired charts.

 “Haunted Mansion” kept the top spot on the movie chart, making it the most popular film on all the streaming services in the US.  “The Nightmare Before Christmas” also received a boost for the Halloween season.  The latest Pixar film, “Elemental”, also continued to attract viewers.

The debut of the new original series, “Goosebumps”, on both Disney+ and Hulu also had a fantastic debut, which was helped by Disney releasing five episodes at once, which will have helped boost the number of minutes watched to make the acquired chart.

Disney’s ABC mega-hit “Grey’s Anatomy” also continues to pull in audiences on Hulu and Netflix in the US, almost toppling the mega-hit, “Suits”.. Internationally, the show is available on Disney+.   Meanwhile, “S.W.A.T” continued to pull in large audiences across multiple platforms, including Hulu.
