Following the success of films like “Jungle Cruise” and Disney+ shows like “Behind The Attraction”, Seven Bucks Productions has announced that it has signed a first-look deal with The Walt Disney Company to develop films for theatrical and streaming.

Seven Bucks Productions was co-founded by Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia, Seven Bucks Productions is a multi-platform production company pioneering original content for television, film, emerging technologies, and digital networks. Crossing all entertainment verticals, Seven Bucks Productions creates innovative content rooted in authenticity, strong storytelling, and passion.

The majority of projects created by Seven Bucks Productions star Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, including “Black Addam”, “DC’s League Of Superpets”, “Rampage”, “Jumanji” and “Young Rock”. They are also working together on the upcoming live-action version of “Moana” and the animated movie, “Moana 2”. The company also has worked on a number of wrestling documentaries.

This multi-year agreement isn’t strickly limited to filmed content and will see the production company work with Disney across many of their divisions.

Roger’s Take: With Dwayne’s history with Disney and with mutiple projects coming up, it looks like we will be getting plenty of new films and shows from Seven Bucks Productions in the future. I’ve been a huge fan of Dwayne since his debut in the WWE and pretty much enjoy every one of his films, plus as a wrestling fan, many of his other projects have interested me.
