Disney has announced that following the success of the last season, “Italia’s Got Talent” will return for a new season on Disney+ and will once again be an original Disney+ production.

Adapted in 75 markets, “Got Talent” is the most successful format in the world, earning it the title of ‘World Guinness Record’ as ‘Most Popular Talent/Reality Show’. Created in 2006, “Got Talent” has reached more than 1 billion viewers globally and aired in 31 countries in 2023-2024 with excellent ratings. The Italian edition of 2023 was the first “Got Talent” in Europe to be made available on a streaming platform.

Daniel Frigo, Country Manager, The Walt Disney Company Italia, said in a statement:

“I’m delighted to announce that ‘Italia’s Got Talent’ will still be an original Disney+ production, a renewal that confirms the company’s desire to build an increasingly wide and complete general entertainment offer.  The last edition represented the debut for this show on a streaming service and it was a winning bet, confirming once again the excellent collaboration with Fremantle.”

Marco Tombolini, CEO of Fremantle Italia, added:

“We are thrilled to once again work alongside Disney for a new season of Italia’s Got Talent. A result that rewards the success of a format, among the most iconic and beloved worldwide, and the winning choice of Disney that decided, first in Europe, to offer it in streaming. Castings to participate in the new season are open and we are already working to discover the best talent to create together a unique and extraordinary show for Disney+ subscribers in Italy”.

The last season on Disney+ saw the triumph of Francesca Cesarini, who, with a thrilling pole-sport performance, captivated and moved the audience, placing first out of the ten finalists who made it to the last episode of the talent show.

Castings to participate in the new season are now open; all information is available at www.italiasgottalent.it.

The talent show is produced by Fremantle Italia, and the latest season is available to stream on Disney+ in Italy.
