Marvel Studios and Disney have renewed their overall deal with Michael Waldron, the writer of “Doctor Strange In The Multiverse” and the Disney+ Original series, “Loki”. He is also behind the upcoming second season of “Loki” plus the next “Doctor Strange” film and “Avengers: Secret Wars”.

The writer has just launched a new film and TV production company, Anomaly Pictures, with his producing partner Adam Fasullo, who has also worked on “The Midnight Club”, “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan”, and “The Haunting of Hill House”. The duo have previously worked together on Starz wrestling series, “Heelz”.

The duo says their new banner believes that popcorn entertainment can also be prestige entertainment, and at the heart of every project lies the question: What if this was good?

Michael Waldron had been working with Marvel Studios President, Kevin Feige, on an upcoming Star Wars film, but that has recently been cancelled.

No details have been revealed about the deal, but it looks like we will see more shows and films from Michael Waldron in the future.
