Disney has announced details on this year’s Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade, which will premiere in the United States at 0:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. EST/9:00-11:00 a.m. PST on December 25th 2023 on the ABC channel, with the special being made available on Disney+ and Hulu the following day.

This special is going to be hosted by “Dancing With The Stars” Julianne Hough and Derek Hough, along with Mickey Guyton from Walt Disney Resort in Florida and Jesse Palmer from Disneyland Resort in California.

The special will feature special performances from Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai’i and aboard Disney Cruise Line, with beloved showcase spectacular performances of holiday classics and festive new favourites, highlight heartwarming family stories from around the globe, and offer special looks at what’s new around The Walt Disney Company.

In addition to the parade itself, musical performances for “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” include the following:

• Julianne Hough and Derek Hough – “Good Morning” and “Deck the Halls” Medley
• Meg Donnelly – “Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)”
• Chrissy Metz – “Silver Bells”
• The Smashing Pumpkins – “Evergreen”
• Iam Tongi – “Mele Kalikimaka”
• The Broadway and North American Tour Cast of Disney’s “Aladdin” – “Friend Like Me”
• Plus, a special look back at some of the most iconic performances from years past.

“Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” is produced by Disney executive and senior executive producer Sally Conner for Disney Parks, who brought on production company Film 45 Live and executive producers Michael Antinoro and Richard Godfrey.

With Disney’s holiday specials, expect them to only be available on Disney+ and Hulu for a limited period before being removed. It hasn’t been announced if this special will also be released internationally on Disney, but in the past, these specials weren’t always released globally.
