In March, Disney+ will be getting a brand new batch of original programming from around the world, with new episodes of “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” and “Star Wars: The Mandalorian”. Plus, much more.

Here’s the rundown:

The Mandalorian – Season 3

The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.

Every Wednesday throughout March.


Miley Cyrus ‒ Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions)

Miley Cyrus takes the stage in this must-see, Disney+ music event, “Miley Cyrus – Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions).” For the first time ever, Miley performs songs from “Endless Summer Vacation,” including her hit single “Flowers,” seven additional tracks from the album, one of her chart-topping classic hits and a special performance with Rufus Wainwright.

“Miley Cyrus ‒ Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions)” is set to premiere on Friday 10th March 2023, at 1 p.m. EST/10 a.m. PST on Disney+.


Chang Can Dunk

“Chang Can Dunk” follows Chang, a 16-year-old, Asian American high school student in the marching band, who bets the school basketball star that he can dunk by Homecoming. The bet leads the 5’ 8″ Chang on a quest to find the hops he needs to dunk in order to impress his crush, Kristy, and finally gain the attention and respect of his high school peers. But before he can rise up and truly throw one down, he’ll have to reexamine everything he knows about himself, his friendships and his family.

“Chang Can Dunk” drops onto Disney+ on Friday 10th March 2023


Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Season 2

When the new season opens, months have passed since the events on Kamino, and the Bad Batch continue their journey navigating the Empire after the fall of the Republic. They will cross paths with friends and foes, both new and familiar, as they take on a variety of thrilling mercenary missions that will take them to unexpected and dangerous new places.

New episodes are being released every Wednesday throughout March.


Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming, with Dave Letterman

U2’s Bono and the Edge make a return to Dublin with Dave Letterman, reflecting on their journey as musicians and friends. The special features never-before-seen footage and interviews detailing their songwriting process and the inspiration behind their greatest hits. Directed by Morgan Neville, this is the story of one of the most remarkable friendships in the history of rock and roll.

This U2 special arrives on Disney+ on Friday 17th March 2023.


Doogie Kamealoha, M.D. – Season 2

When Lahela’s (Peyton Elizabeth Lee) first love, Walter (Alex Aiono) returns from the World Surf Tour, he’s not the same boyfriend she said good-bye to months before. But she’s not the same girl either. That becomes clear when she meets a bad boy on a dirt bike, Nico (Milo Manheim.) She’s faced with a decision: fight for what she knows is true, or give new love a chance. It’s all complicated by the pressures of being a teenage doctor. Luckily, she has her family, coworkers and best friend Steph (Emma Meisel) to support her along the way.

The entire second season arrives on Disney+ on Friday 31st March 2023

Kiff

“Kiff” is a nutty animated buddy-comedy about an optimistic squirrel Kiff and her chill bunny bestie Barry. From creators and executive producers Lucy Heavens and Nic Smal, the series follows Kiff and Barry as they navigate school, relationships and their often-eccentric community in Table Town, a world where animals and magical oddballs tackle day-to-day life together. Inspired by the people and places Heavens and Smal experienced when they were growing up in Cape Town, South Africa, each half-hour episode, comprised of two 11-minute stories, includes a new original song.

“Kiff” arrives on Disney+ on Wednesday 15th March 2023


Prom Pact

It is the height of prom season, but high school senior Mandy Yang has her sights set on a singular goal: attending Harvard. When she finds out she has been deferred, she is determined to do whatever she can to get herself off the waitlist, even if that means asking the one person who represents everything she abhors – popular all-star jock Graham Lansing, whose father is a powerful Senator and Harvard alum. Once Mandy becomes Graham’s tutor, she begins to realize there’s more to him than she thought, and perhaps something more to life than Harvard as well. When Graham’s father offers to recommend Mandy to Harvard, will she choose to take this boost, even if it comes at the cost of what she stands for?

This new original film arrives on Friday 31st March 2023.

Get personal with Robin Roberts as she returns for another season of intimate conversations with multiple generations of Hollywood’s most inspiring women. Each episode is a profound and insightful discussion that bears witness to incredible journeys of self-actualization. Listen to never-before-heard stories of how these trailblazers learned grace, found fulfillment, conquered certainty and embraced community. Discover their commonalities and learn how their stories and experiences created room for expansion and evolution.

“Turning The Tables” arrives on Disney+ on Wednesday 15th March 2023.


MPower

“MPower” salutes the Marvel women, onscreen and off, who have brought our iconic heroes to life.

Coming to Disney+ on Wednesday, 8th March 2023.


And internationally, there will also be some other Disney+ Originals coming, which can be found on Hulu in the United States.

Here’s a few highlights:

Finding Michael

In 1999, Michael Matthews became the youngest Briton to summit Mount Everest. But three hours after he summited, he disappeared and was never found. Twenty-three years later, his brother, entrepreneur and broadcaster Spencer Matthews sets out on a journey to find him. Teaming up with 14 peak record holder Nims Purja, the recovery team faces extreme challenges as the weather closes in.

History Of The World – Part 2

After waiting over 40 years, there is finally a sequel to the seminal Mel Brooks film, History of the World, Part I, with each episode featuring a variety of sketches that take us through different periods of human history. Season 2 will be a four-day event with two new episodes available every day for four days.

This series will be released over a period of four days from March 6th.

Boston Strangler

A true-crime thriller from writer-director Matt Ruskin about the trailblazing reporters who broke the story of the notorious Boston Strangler murders of the 1960s. Boston Strangler The film follows Loretta McLaughlin (Keira Knightley), a reporter for the Record-American newspaper, who becomes the first journalist to connect the Boston Strangler murders. As the mysterious killer claims more and more victims, Loretta attempts to continue her investigation alongside colleague and confidante Jean Cole (Carrie Coon).

This all new film from 20th Century Studios arrives on March 17th 2023.


Up Here

A musical romantic comedy set in New York City in 1999, following the extraordinary story of one ordinary couple, as they fall in love and encounter a world of memories, obsessions, fears, and fantasies that lives inside their heads. It leads them to discover that the single greatest obstacle to finding happiness together might just be themselves.

This new series will arrives on March 24th 2023.
