Today, Disney held a special panel at the New York Comic Con for the upcoming second season of the Disney+ Original series, “Monsters At Work”, which will be returning with new episodes in 2024.

“Monsters at Work” is inspired by the world of Pixar’s Academy Award-winning “Monsters, Inc.” and introduces new monster characters alongside returning favourites. The series has been created by Disney Television Animation, rather than Pixar.

In season two, Tylor’s journey as a Jokester and his friendship with Val face the ultimate test. When new doors of opportunity unexpectedly open at rival energy company FearCo, Tylor’s co-workers at Monsters Inc. begin to question where his loyalties truly lie. As his Laugh Floor partnership with Val is pushed to the brink, Tylor must discover where he really belongs. The series’ star-studded cast – including Billy Crystal (Mike Wazowski), John Goodman (James P. “Sulley” Sullivan), Ben Feldman (Tylor Tuskmon), Mindy Kaling (Val Little), Henry Winkler (Fritz), Lucas Neff (Duncan) and Alanna Ubach (Cutter) – will all be returning for the second season.

During the panel, some of the special guest stars, who will be reprising their roles from the “Monsters University” film were revealed, including Aubrey Plaza (The White Lotus) as Claire Wheeler, Nathan Fillion (ABC’s The Rookie) as Johnny Worthington III, and Bobby Moynihan (Saturday Night Live) as Chet Alexander.

Some additional special guest cast have also been revealed, which includes Jennifer Coolidge (The White Lotus), Rhys Darby (Our Flag Means Death), Janelle James (Abbott Elementary), Jenifer Lewis (ABC’s black-ish), Ali Wong (Beef), Bowen Yang (Saturday Night Live), Paula Pell (Saturday Night Live), Danny Pudi (Community), Cody Rigsby (Peloton instructor, Author, TV personality), Jimmy Tatro (ABC’s Home Economics), Danny Trejo (Machete), Joe Lo Truglio (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Alan Tudyk (Resident Alien).

Guests attending the panel were treated to an early preview of the first two episodes of the second season.

You can watch the first season of “Monsters At Work” on Disney+ now, along with the two films, “Monsters Inc” and “Monsters University”.
