Set after the events of “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”, Marvel Television’s “Ironheart” pits technology against magic when Riri Williams—a young, genius inventor determined to make her mark on the world—returns to her hometown of Chicago. Her unique take on building iron suits is brilliant, but in pursuit of her ambitions, she finds herself wrapped up with the mysterious yet charming Parker Robbins aka “The Hood”.

Roger’s Take: “Ironheart” feels like a strange show that seems to be a project that would never get greenlit today. This show was originally supposed to come out two years ago and has been sat on Marvel’s shelf for a very long time. The shift to a binge drop release schedule does seem a little strange as Marvel generally prefers the weekly release schedule to spread the release out, but dropping it over two weeks almost feels like them trying to dump it and forget it. Alternatively, they could have seen a bump in viewership with how “Andor” has recently been released.
