Disney+ Original “Land Of Tanabata” Teaser Trailer Released
Disney has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Japanese Disney+ Original series, “Land Of Tanabata”, which is coming from the creator of the award-winning original series, “Gannibal”.
The series tells the story of what happens when a mysterious incident occurs in which buildings and people are suddenly carved into round shapes by “spheres” and disappear. The key to solving the mystery lies in a “certain town” protected by a person with the ability to control the spheres. Nanmaru, an ordinary college student with roots in that town, becomes embroiled in the mystery. His modest skill of “drilling small holes in objects with telekinesis” turns out to be the same as a terrifying power.

“Land Of Tanabata” will star Hosoda Kaoruta, Fujino Ryoko Higashimaru Takashi, Kiryu Aso Aki: Narumi Yui Tagaya, Nishihata Mio Masumoto Kunitada, Ibu Masato Marukami Masami and Yamada Takayuki. It has been directed by Taki Yusuke, Sano Takahide, and Kawai Hayato. It has been written by Miyoshi Akiko, Asato Mari, and Taki Yusuke.
This brand-new series is going to be released on Disney+ in many countries across Asia on July 4th 2024. As with most other international originals, I’d expect this series to be released globally on Disney+ and also on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.
