Disney+ Original “Bullet/Bullet” Release Date Announced
Disney has announced new details on the upcoming original anime series, “Bullet/Bullet”, which will be coming soon to Disney+ around the world this summer.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world where people repurpose junk from the old world to survive, it follows junk dealer Gear, who secretly works by night with Qu-0213, a robot with multiple personalities, and Shirokuma, a polar bear with a gambling problem, to steal whatever their clients require. Things take a turn when they save a girl from assassins, setting them on a path of direct conflict with the top echelons of their broken society.
“Bullet/Bullet” is going to feature a voice cast that includes Marina Inoue (Attack on Titan, Smile PreCure!) as Gear, Kazuhiro Yamaji (PSYCHO-PASS, One-Punch Man) as Shirokuma, Rie Kugimiya (Gintama, Fullmetal Alchemist) and Kana Hanazawa (Quintessential Quintuplets, PSYCHO-PASS).
It has been directed by Sunghoo Park, with Aki Kindaichi (Uma Musume: Cinderella Grey) working on the series as the writer. Character design for the show has been made by Chief Animation Director Takahiro Yoshimatsu (Future GPX Cyber Formula, Hunter x Hunter), and concept and mechanical designs come from Hidetaka Tenjin (Movile Suit Gundam, Macross).
The first eight episodes of “Bullet/Bullet” will be released on Disney+ around the world on July 16th 2025, with a further binge drop of eight episodes on August 13th 2025. As with other international Disney+ Originals, expect to see this released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.
