The nominations for this year’s Children’s & Family Emmys have been announced and Disney has picked up over 100 nominations across all of its shows, studios and brands.

The Disney+ Original series “Percy Jackson And The Olympians” was the most nominated show, with 16 nominations, including Best Teen Series and the Disney+ Original series, “Goosebumps”, was also nominated for 9 awards.

Plenty of other Disney+ Originals have been nominated, including “A Real Bug’s Life”, “I Am Groot”, “Monsters At Work”,  “High School Musical: The Musical: The Musical”, “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur”, “Pretty Freakin Scary”, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures”, “Hailey’s On It” and many more.

A number of Disney movies including “The Naughty Nine” and “World’s Best” also got some nominations in the movie categories.

Also, interestingly, “The Spiderwick Chronicles,” created by 20th Television and Paramount, has been nominated for 13 awards. This show was actually sold off to Roku rather than being released on Disney+ as originally planned.

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will announce the winners at a ceremony on March 15th 2025, in Los Angeles.

Rachel Schwartz, head of the Children’s & Family Emmy Awards, said in a statement:

“This year’s nominations are particularly meaningful as much of the work being honoured was delayed due to last year’s strikes.  It is a privilege to have been named Head of a competition that is not only honouring exceptional talent but is also shaping the way children and their families interact with the world. Congratulations to all.”
