Disney has kicked off its new holiday promotional campaign for Disney+, called “‘Tis the Season.” This campaign highlights all of the popular Christmas-themed movies and shows available on Disney+, such as “The Santa Clause,” “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” and “Home Alone.”

Due to the inclusion of Hulu on Disney+, they are promoting that they have plenty of other classics for subscribers, like “Die Hard,” “Polar Express,” and “Elf.”

Plus Disney is also promoting some of its major new releases such as “Skeleton Crew” and “Dream Productions”, in addition to some of its major new films, “Deadpool & Wolverine” and “Alien: Romulus”.

Over the coming weeks, we will likely see Disney continue to highlight some of its classic holiday-themed content, plus its originals, which will hit the streaming service in December.

Internationally, we will likely see a similar campaign, just within a mention of Hulu, which will reduce some of the licensed content like “Elf”.

Roger’s Take: This is the first year that Disney has been promoted its new expanded offering with Hulu On Disney+, which has brought in plenty of other major titles like the super popular “Elf” and perhaps the biggest Christmas movie of all time, “Die Hard”. I’m sure this new promotion is going to get plenty of signups as the lineup of classic and original content for December is very good.
