Disney held the world premiere for the upcoming documentary, “Music by John Williams”, at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California on Wednesday evening.

The documentary, which offers a fascinating and insightful look at the prolific life and career of legendary composer John Williams, served as the opening night of the 38th edition of AFI FEST presented by Canva.

The filmmakers and numerous luminaries from film and music were in attendance, including  Laurent Bouzereau (director/executive producer), Steven Spielberg (producer), Ron Howard (producer), Sara Bernstein (producer), Justin Wilkes (producer), Meredith Kaulfers (producer), Kathleen Kennedy (producer), Frank Marshall (producer), Markus Keith (executive producer), Michael Rosenberg (executive producer), J.J. Abrams, Gustavo Dudamel, Jenny Williams, Ethan Gruska, Thomas Newman, Alan Silvestri, David Newman, Bryce Dallas Howard, and others.

“Music by John Williams” will premiere on Disney+ on November 1st 2024 and it will also have a limited theatrical release in New York, Los Angeles, and London.
