Disney Hosts Launch Event For Pixar’s “Dream Productions” Disney+ Series
Just ahead of the release of the new limited series “Dream Productions”, Disney held a special launch event at the Disney Studios lot in Burbank, California, which was attended by many of the voice cast and filmmakers of the series.
This new series from Pixar is set within the world of “Inside Out” and returns to the iconic location in Riley’s mind, where dreams really do come true—every night, on time and on budget.
“Dream Productions” takes place in between the events of “Inside Out” and “Inside Out 2″. Riley is growing up, and when her memories need some extra processing, Joy and the rest of the Core Emotions send them to Dream Productions. Acclaimed director Paula Persimmon (voice of Pell) faces a nightmare of her own: Trying to create the next hit dream after being paired up with Xeni (voice of Richard Ayoade), a smug daydream director looking to step up into the big leagues of night dreams.
Hitting the purple carpet were members of the voice cast, including Paula Pell (voice of Paula), Kensington Tallman (voice of Riley), Maya Rudolph (voice of Jean), Ally Maki (voice of Janelle), Grace Lu (voice of Grace) and Sumayyah Nuriddin-Green (voice of Bree). Filmmakers in attendance included Jaclyn Simon (producer), Valerie LaPointe (director, episodes 1, 2), Austin Madison (director, episode 3) and composer Nami Melumad.

All four episodes of the limited series will be available on Disney+ on December 11th 2024.
