Disney Entertainment is going to be hosting its annual “For Your Consideration” event called “Disney NYC Fest”, which is going to be taking place at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles from June 2nd through to June 14th.

According to Deadline, ehe event will feature screenings, panels, receptions and interactive experiences highlighting the shows and specials from Disney’s studios, including 20th Century Studios, ABC Entertainment, ABC News, Disney+, Disney Branded Television, Disney Television Studios, Freeform, FX, Hulu, Lucasfilm Ltd, Marvel Studios, National Geographic, Onyx Collective and Searchlight Television.

Many shows being showcased include Disney+ and Hulu/Star Originals, which are being shown to members of awards-voting groups in the entertainment industry, in order to help with future award nominations.

There will be a number of screenings and panels for the following shows:

  • The 1619 Project,
  • Abbott Elementary,
  • American Born Chinese,
  • The Bear,
  • Encanto at the Hollywood Bowl,
  • The Handmaid’s Tale,
  • History of the World: Part II,
  • The Kardashians,
  • The Mandalorian,
  • The Old Man,
  • Pretty Baby: Brooke Shields,
  • A Small Light,
  • Tiny Beautiful Things,
  • UnPrisoned,
  • Andor
  • Will Trent.

These shows will also be showcased through a special interactive experience, which will include costume displays, photo moments and special video presentations, in addition to the following shows and specials:

  • Beauty and the Beast: A 30th Anniversary Celebration,
  • Bono & The Edge: A Sort of Homecoming,
  • Ed Sheeran: The Sum of it All,
  • Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodger Stadium,
  • The Great,
  • Limitless with Chris Hemsworth,
  • Jimmy Kimmel Live,
  • Miley Cyrus: Endless Summer Vacation (Backyard Sessions),
  • Ms. Marvel,
  • Obi-Wan Kenobi,
  • Only Murders in the Building,
  • The Orville: New Horizons,
  • Prey,
  • She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,
  • Single Drunk Female
  • Welcome to Chippendales.


This is the third year that Disney has run the event, having previously held events at the Rose Bowl and at the El Capitan Theater.
