Disney+ Announces New Korean Drama “The Murky Stream”
During Disney’s APAC Showcase event in Singapore, Disney revealed a brand new Korean drama series called “The Murky Stream”,
The drama promises to delve into the complexities of power, ambition, and redemption. It revolves around a man who started as a warhead in Mapo-Naru, the centre of Joseon’s logistics and economy, and eventually becomes a legend of Joseon.
The upcoming series is going to star Rowoon, Shin Yeeun, Park Jihwan and Park Seoham.
“The Murky Stream” will be directed by Choo Changmin (Masquerade) and written by Cheon Sungil (Netflix’s All Of Us Are Dead).
No release details for this series have been revealed, but it’s expected to be released in 2025, as with most Korean originals, it’ll be released on Disney+ around the world and on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.
