Disney has announced details on a brand-new Korean drama original series called “Delusion,” which has recently gone into production.  

The show is set in 1935 Gyeongseong, which is now known as Seoul, and it tells the story of Yoon I Ho, a painter commissioned to create a portrait of Song Jung Hwa. She is a mysterious and alluring woman who has remained hidden from the public eye for over fifty years, surrounded by countless rumours and suspicions. As Yoon I Ho becomes more involved in the project, he is drawn into her enigmatic world and begins to uncover secrets that blur the boundaries between illusion and reality.

The upcoming original series is based on the webtoon of the same name and will star Suzy and Kim Seonho

“Delusion” will be directed by Han Jae Rim, who has previously worked on ‘The Show Must Go On,’ ‘The Face Reader,’ ‘The King,’ and ‘Emergency Declaration.’

This new original series will be released on Disney+ around the world in 2026.  “Delusion” joins the ever expanding list of Disney+ original shows such as “Moving”, “Big Bet”, “Snowdrop” and many more.
