Disney has announced that the next quarterly financial results investors call will take place on Tuesday 7th May 2024 at at 8:30 a.m. ET / 5:30 a.m. PT.

This will be the first quarterly results call to take place since the recent Annual Shareholder meeting, which saw Bob Iger and the board of directors fend off multiple activist investors, including Nelson Peltz.

The virtual event will give us an update on the latest subscriber numbers for Disney+, Hulu, ESPN+, and Disney+ Hotstar. These numbers are expected to increase following a recent deal with Charter, which has seen Spectrum cable customers receive Disney+ access as part of their bundles.

Disney CEO Bob Iger said during a recent interview with CNBC that during the next investors’ call, we will hear more about Hulu On Disney+, which launched just a couple of weeks ago in the United States, and the impending clampdown on Disney+ account sharing this summer.

With the current situation in India, the merger between Disney’s Star India and Reliance, which will have a major impact on how Disney+ operates in the region, and the merger of Star+ and Disney+ in Latin America in June, hopefully, we will get an update on both of those situations.
