Disney+ has added a brand-new collection featuring a selection of films from Searchlight Pictures, highlighting the huge collection of award-winning movies, including recent titles, classics and streaming originals.

You’ll find the Searchlight Pictures collection within the “All Collections” section on the Search page within Disney+.

Currently, the collection is only available in select countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland and across Europe.  The collection isn’t showing as being available on Disney+ in the United States, but I suspect it won’t be too long until its made available, though US viewers will require a Hulu subscription to access these films via Hulu On Disney+.

Roger’s Take:  It’s great to finally see all of Searchlight Pictures’ films available in one place, and it’s amazing that it’s taken Disney all these years to finally do this since it seemed like such an obvious collection considering the huge collection of award-winning films.  I had always wondered if Disney+ would eventually get a Searchlight Pictures hub since it’s such an important studio within Disney’s suite, but at least this makes it easier for fans to find movies.
