Just days after Marvel Studios revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con, that two “Avengers” films would be coming to cinemas in 2025, Deadline has revealed that Destin Daniel Cretton will be directing “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty”.

No details have yet been revealed about “Avengers: The Kang Dynasty”, but we should expect to see much more of the time-travelling villain, Kang, over the next few years.  The character is played by Jonathon Majors and was introduced in the Disney+ series, “Loki”, and will be appearing in “Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania”, which hits cinemas in early 2023.

Destin Daniel Cretton has previously directed “Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings” and also has an overall deal with Marvel.  Destin has recently been linked to be working on the Marvel Studios “Wonder Man” Disney+ series.  He is also working on other projects for Disney, including the upcoming Disney+ series, “American Born Chinese.”

“Avengers: The Kang Dynasty” will be coming out on May 2nd 2025, with “Avengers: Secret Wars” following later in the year on November 7th 2025.
