Dear Santa: The Series – Season 2 – Coming Soon To Hulu
As we move into the Holiday season, Variety has revealed that a second season of “Dear Santa: The Series” will be coming soon to Hulu and ABC-Owned Television Stations later this month.
The series follows the U.S. Postal Service’s USPS Operation Santa program, which allows generous people from across the United States to help fulfil the holiday wishes of families in need by adopting their letters to Santa Claus. The program has been running for over a decade, and thousands of letters to Santa arrive each year.
The series will feature real-life stories of children whose letters were answered and the generous individuals and families who adopted them. This five-episode series features families from a number of different cities across the US, including Atlanta, Denver, New York City, Oklahoma City and Richmond, Va.
Sheila Holman, marketing vice president for USPS said in a statement:
“USPS Operation Santa has captured the heart of the holiday season for more than 112 years, bringing people together through kindness and generosity. We’re excited for the new season of the Dear Santa docuseries to shine a light on this incredible American tradition, showing how small acts of goodwill can make a big difference.”
It’s directed and produced by Dana Nachman, who has previously worked on the Disney+ Original series “Pick of the Litter” and it will be created by Sweet World Films. Traverse32’s Brendan Gaul and Brett Henenberg will executive produce in addition to Chelsea Matter and USPS vice president of marketing Sheila Holman and USPS manager of marketing operations Shalene Starr.
The second season will premiere on the ABC-Owned Television Stations on November 24th 2024 and it will also be released on Hulu on November 29th 2024. The special will also air on Localish, the ABC-owned 24/7 network featured on Hulu Live TV, YouTube TV, Vidgo, Fubo, Rockbot, Roku Channel, Tubi, Xumo, Samsung TV Plus, Amazon Prime Video, FreeVee and FireTV Alexa.
