Disney has officially announced that an upcoming episode of “Dancing With The Stars” is going to be a celebration of Taylor Swift. The upcoming Taylor Swift-themed night will be taking place on Tuesday, 21st November 2023.

“Dancing with the Stars” is the hit series hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough in which celebrities are paired with trained ballroom dancers to compete in themed choreographed dance routines that are judged by a panel of renowned ballroom experts, including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough. The show is produced in front of a live audience by BBC Studios Los Angeles Productions.

In this special episode, all the remaining couples will dance to Taylor Swift’s music.  It’s also been revealed that “Dancing With the Stars” choreographer and the lead choreographer of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour, Mandy Moore, will join the show as a special guest judge.

It was expected that one of the themed nights of the latest season was going to be a Taylor Swift night, since, during a recent interview with Billboard, one of the show’s pro-dancers, Peta Murgatroyd, revealed that one of this season’s episodes is going to be themed around Taylor Swift and feature Taylor Swift songs.  And on a recent episode of “The Nikki & Brie Show”, pro-dancer Artem Chigvintsev hinted that his celebrity dance partner for this year, Charity Lawson, had requested to dance to a Taylor Swift song, but was denied.

It hasn’t been announced what Taylor Swift songs that the celebrities will be dancing too, but expect more information to be revealed nearer the show’s release.  It also hasn’t been confirmed if Taylor Swift will be making an appearance on the show to promote her recent album release, 1989.  Taylor has previously appeared on the show in multiple seasons in the past.

“Dancing With The Stars” airs live on ABC and Disney+ on at 8 pm ET on Tuesdays, with episodes available the next day on Hulu. You can also catch Taylor Swift’s own Disney+ Original special, “Folklore” on Disney+ now.
