Later this month, Disney is releasing a brand-new original drama series, “Cristóbal Balenciaga,” which recreates the life and legacy of the Guetaria-born Spanish creator, one of the most iconic fashion designers of all time.

The series is created by Lourdes Iglesias and 12-time Goya award winners Aitor Arregi, Jon Garaño, and Jose Mari Goenaga (“The Endless Trench”).  Alberto San Juan plays the title role, Cristóbal Balenciaga, an enigmatic and extraordinarily talented man who defied the social conventions of the time and revolutionized the world of fashion.

Ahead of the series release, Hollywood Records released the soundtrack on digital platforms, including Spotify, Apple, YouTube, and others.

This new album features original music that has been composed by Alberto Iglesias, who has previously worked on “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy”, “The Constant Gardener” and “Exodus: Gods and King”.

“Cristóbal Balenciaga” will be released on Friday, 19th January 2024, on Disney+ around the world and on Hulu/Hulu On Disney+ in the United States.
