Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming documentary series, “Cold Case Files: DNA Speaks”, which is going to be released on Hulu on August 17th 2023.

“Cold Case Files: DNA Speaks” is a spinoff of “Cold Case Files” and is narrated by investigative journalist Bill Kurtis, who examines cold cases that are solved through advancements in DNA, along with help from victims’ families, law enforcement and the public. Each episode tells the story of how forensic evidence is used to solve murder cases that have remained unsolved for years.

This ten-episode documentary series, focuses on murder cases that remained unsolved for decades and were ultimately cracked with DNA evidence. It explores these stunning scientific developments – as well as the unwavering dedication of families and investigators – that eventually brought the killers to justice.

“Cold Case Files: DNA Speaks” is produced by Category 6 Media Group.     It’s unknown if this documentary series will be released internationally as a Star Original on Disney+.
