As things slowly start moving in Hollywood, casting for the upcoming Disney+ Ms Marvel series has resumed, according to Murphy’s Multiverse,

Marvel Studios have begun auditioning for an actress to play Ms Marvel, though these auditions will be still done remotely via Zoom.

It’s unknown when Ms. Marvel will begin filming, which is expected to take place in Atlanta, where other Marvel Studios are usually filmed.  However with the current situation, things are still likely to change.

The new Disney+ series is being written by Hulu’s Four Weddings and a Funeral writer, Brisha K. Ali, who will also be the showrunner.

Kamala Khan is Marvel’s first Muslim superhero and she has a polymorphous super power, which means she has the ability to stretch and change her shape.  It’s also expected that she will also appear in the upcoming Captain Marvel 2 movie, which is scheduled to hit cinemas on July 8th 2022.
