Disney has released a new clip from the new National Geographic special, “Black Travel Across America”, which was released on Hulu today and will be coming to Disney+ in the United States on February 24th 2023.

Travel Consultant, Martinique Lewis, embarks on a journey to visit historically listed Green Book locations and modern black travel destinations.  In this clip, we learn about Franklin and Maedella Stiger’s barbershop, which has been a neighborhood staple for over 40 years.

Check out the clip below:

The “Green book” was the brainchild of Harlem-based postman Victor Hugo Green. The Green Book provided African Americans with advice on safe places to eat and sleep while touring a divided America. This documentary follows hosts as they embark on a journey across America visiting modern-day historic landmarks from the Green Book, gaining new insights and stories of these historically rich locations from local experts.
