Hulu has revealed some new unscripted programming that will be coming out in 2023/2024, which includes three new series, “Big RV Remix”, “Rachael Ray’s Rebuild”, and “Cold Case Files: DNA Speaks”.  It was also revealed by Deadline that a second season of “50/50 Flip” is also happening.

All four of these shows are being created by Disney’s and Hearst Communications A+E Networks’ factual production groups Six West Media and Category 6 Media.  It hasn’t been announced if these series will also be released internationally as Star Original on Star+ in Latin America or Disney+ around the world.

Lauren Tempest, Senior Vice President, Content Partnerships, Acquisitions & Scheduling, Hulu said in a statement:

“Big RV Remix” is hosted by Outkast’s Antwan “Big Boi” Patton and his business partner Janice Faison who own Celebrity Trailers, which specializes in over-the-top custom large vehicle renovations.   “From trailers and campers to sprinters and school buses – if it has wheels, Big Boi and Janice are ready to make their clients’ vehicle renovation dreams come true”. The series is produced by Six West Media group and Milojo Productions and arrives on Hulu on July 21st 2023.

“Rachael Ray’s Rebuild” sees Rachael Ray team up with contractor Anthony Carrino (Kitchen Cousins) to help families whose homes have been destroyed by weather events, fires, or other disasters, recover from the tragedies. They will not only be renovating and remodelling but will also help them move forward as they rebuild their lives and create the forever home of their dreams.  “Rachael Ray’s Rebuild” is produced by Six West Media Group in association with Intentional Content and Watch Entertainment.   The show will be coming out later this year on Hulu.

“Cold Case Files: DNA Speaks” is a spinoff of “Cold Case Files” and is narrated by investigative journalist Bill Kurtis, who examines cold cases that are solved through advancements in DNA, along with help from victims’ families, law enforcement and the public. Each episode tells the story of how forensic evidence is used to solve murder cases that have remained unsolved for years. “Cold Case Files: DNA Speaks” is produced by Category 6 Media Group.   The show will premiere on Hulu on August 17th 2023.

And the second season of “50/50 Flip” will arrive on Hulu early next year and follows husband-wife team Krystal and Dedric Polite, who look to earn maximum profits with their 50/50 flip strategy – renovating a home with less than $50K in under 50 days. By investing into their community, the Polites aim to create affordable housing for everyone while building generational wealth to pass along to their two young sons.  The show is produced by Six West Media Group.
