“Betrayal” Returning For A Fourth Season On Hulu & Disney+
At last week’s Crime Con event in Las Vegas, Nevada, ABC News correspondent John Quiñones moderated a panel featuring Glass Entertainment President Nancy Glass and “Betrayal” podcast host Andrea Gunning, alongside Karoline Borega from Season 4 of the hit podcast.
During the panel, in a room of thousands of fans of true crime and scandals, the team made a surprise exclusive announcement that Season 4 of the popular docuseries will stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for Bundle subscribers in the United States this August. No international Disney+ release details were announced, but the series is available globally on the platform, so expect an international release at a later date on Disney+.
In the fourth season, it follows Karoline’s story and delves into her husband’s, a respected Colorado Springs Police officer, betrayal, the resilience of family, and the ways in which she has rebuilt her life in the aftermath of his years-long extreme misconduct. Her daughter, Nicole Kern, was instrumental in convincing her mom to share their story and made a surprise appearance at Crime Con, joining her mother on the panel.
Adding to the excitement, the weekend capped off with the Betrayal team winning a Crime Con CLUE award for Podcast: Outstanding Docuseries.
“Betrayal: The Perfect Husband” originally premiered in July 2023 and was followed by Season 2 (“Betrayal: A Father’s Secret”) in July 2024 and Season 3 (“Betrayal: Under His Eye”) in September 2025, all of which are currently available to stream on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ in the United States and on Disney+ around the world.
“Betrayal: Secrets and Lies” is produced by Glass Entertainment and ABC News Studios. Nancy Glass and Jon Hirsch are executive producers for Glass Entertainment. Conal Byrne and Will Pearson are executive producers for iHeartPodcasts. For ABC News Studios, David Sloan is the senior executive producer, Muriel Pearson is executive producer, and Eileen Murphy is senior editorial producer.
Roger’s Take: Disney is continuing to build out its documentary and true-crime output via ABC, which is extremely popular, but also just as important, much cheaper to produce than scripted shows and more importantly, entertains subscribers around the world.
