Over the weekend, some GIFs featuring “Baby Yoda” from the Disney+ Original series, The Mandalorian, were being removed from “GIFHY” to copyright issues.

However today Variety was told in a statement:

“Last week, there was some confusion around certain content uploaded to Giphy and we temporarily removed these GIFs while we reviewed the situation.  We are happy to report that the [Baby Yoda] GIFs are once again live on Giphy.”

This confirms Disney wasn’t behind the withdraw of GIF’s, however they hasn’t yet uploaded any “Baby Yoda” image to its official channel, but these GIF’s are a excellent way of drumming up excitement and publicity for the show.
