One of the many new films currently in development by Marvel Studios is “Thunderbolts”, which will bring together a team of superheroes and villains for an epic team-up movie featuring David Harbour as Alexei Shostakov/Red Guardian, ​​Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Wyatt Russell as John Walker/U.S.Agent, along with Florence Pugh reprising her role as Yelena Belova and Harrison Ford taking over the role of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross.

According to Deadline, Ayo Edebiri has joined the cast of the film.  It’s currently not known what role she will be playing.   Ayo Edebiri is currently starring in the FX award-winning series, “The Bear” and she also stars in the new Searchlight Pictures film, “Theater Camp”.

The film is going to be directed by Jake Schreier and is going to be written by Eric Pearson, who has previously written the “Black Widow” film. Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige will be producing the movie.

No plot details have yet been revealed about this new Marvel team-up film, but it is building on characters introduced in other films and Disney+ series.

“Thunderbolts” will be coming to theatres on July 26th, 2024.
