“Avatar: Fire And Ash” Disney+ Release Date Revealed
Disney has announced that one of the biggest box office hits of last year, “Avatar: Fire & Ash”, will soon be making its way to Disney+ around the world.
Return to the breathtaking world of Pandora in the most powerful chapter of the Avatar saga yet. As Jake and Neytiri guide their family through grief, they journey with the nomadic Wind Traders across Pandora’s skies. But the Sullys’ path is threatened by a new enemy — the Ash People, a warlike clan led by the fierce Varang — who have turned against Eywa and the ancient Na’vi way.
The film was released in cinemas just before Christmas, and arrived on digital platforms to buy in late March, but now Disney+ subscribers won’t have to wait much longer, as the film will drop onto the streaming service around the world on June 24th 2026, a good six months after its initial theatrical release.
“Avatar: Fire and Ash,” is directed by James Cameron and features a screenplay by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver, and a story by James Cameron & Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver & Josh Friedman & Shane Salerno. It is produced by James Cameron and Jon Landau, with Richard Baneham, Rae Sanchini, and David Valdes serving as executive producers.
The film stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Oona Chaplin, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, David Thewlis, Jemaine Clement, Giovanni Ribisi, Britain Dalton, Jamie Flatters, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Jack Champion, Brendan Cowell, Bailey Bass, Filip Geljo, Duane Evans, Jr., and Kate Winslet.
The previous two “Avatar” films are also available to stream on Disney+.
