Disney has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming Korean Original series, “Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun”, which is coming to Disney+ in many countries around the world, including Canada, Australia and Korea from September 16th 2023, with a three-episode premiere. With new episodes being released every Friday and Saturday afterwards.

The first season of this show, called “Arthdal Chronicles”, was released on Netflix a few years ago. The second season is going to take place about a decade after King Tagon ascended the throne. Ta Gon’s Kingdom of Arthdal and Eun Seom’s Ago Union are set to face an inevitable great war. Eun Seom is the ruler of the East now. Tan Ya is the successor to the Wahan clan. The story set eight years after Ta Gon has become king.

The show stars Jang Donggun (A Gentleman’s Destiny, V.I.P.), Lee Joongi (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, The King and the Clown), Shin Saekyeong (Run On, The Girl Who Sees Scents) and Kim Okvin (Thirst, The Villainess). Season two is directed by Kim Kwangsik (The Great Battle) and is written by season one writer’s Kim Younghyun and Park Sangyean.

Disney hasn’t confirmed if this series will be released on Hulu in the United States, but it will likely follow other Korean drama series.
