Disney has announced that the upcoming Korean drama fantasy series, “Arthdal Chronicles”, will be coming to Disney+ in many countries around the world, including Korea and Canada, from Saturday, 16th September 2023.  With new episodes being released every Friday and Saturday afterwards.   The series will premiere first on the Korean linear channel TVN at 9:20 p.m. KST.

Originally, the series was announced for the 9th, but was delayed a week until the 16th of September, with a three-episode premiere.

This will be the second season of the “Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun”, the previous season was released on Netflix a few years ago, and the second season is going to take place about a decade after King Tagon ascended the throne.

Season two is directed by Kim Kwangsik (The Great Battle) and is written by season one writer’s Kim Younghyun and Park Sangyean.

The show stars Jang Donggun (A Gentleman’s Destiny, V.I.P.),  Lee Joongi (Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, The King and the Clown), Shin Saekyeong (Run On, The Girl Who Sees Scents) and Kim Okvin (Thirst, The Villainess).
