Nielsen has announced its top 10 streaming charts for the United States from April 21st, 2025, to April 27th 2025. There are four different charts: Top 10 Originals, Acquired Shows, Movies, and a combined total chart.

With the release of the first three episodes of the second season of “Andor: A Star Wars Story”, the show managed to debut on both the overall and original charts, giving Disney+ a much-needed win, since its last few major originals have failed to chart on the Nielsen chart.  It also highlights why the three-episode binge drop format helps with the Nielsen chart, especially with Netflix’s binge drops picking up huge numbers of minutes viewed.   “Andor” also would have benefited from its longer episodes and the fact that there is already a first season available to viewers, all of which helped boost its overall viewership count.

The final season of “The Handmaids Tale” continues to perform well, making the originals chart, while “Moana 2” also continues to pull in decent viewership numbers on Disney+.

Disney continues to dominate the acquired and overall charts, with Disney’s biggest hits “Grey’s Anatomy”, Bob’s Burgers”, “The Rookie”, “Bluey” and “Family Guy”, making up the majority of these charts for Hulu and Hulu On Disney+, with “Grey’s Anatomy” topping the acquired chart.
