Adam Brody To Star In New 20th TV Comedy Series For Netflix
Netflix has announced that Adam Brody has joined the cast of the upcoming untitled comedy series, about the unlikely relationship between an outspoken, agnostic woman and an unconventional rabbi.
Adam Brody will play Noah, a charming rabbi who is stuck in his ways and used to playing things safe. He starts to stumble when he meets a brutally honest and provocative Joanne, totally upending his safe life plan. ·Kristen Bell is the lead of the series, Joanne, as previously announced.
Adam Brody is a dynamic and versatile actor, Adam Brody has crafted a distinguished career in both film and television. Brody memorably starred as Seth Cohen on the popular television series, “The O.C.”, and has since established himself as one of Hollywood’s most sought-after talents. On the small screen, Brody recently starred in the critically acclaimed limited series, “Fleishman is in Trouble.” Earlier this year, Adam reprised his role as “Superhero Freddy” in DC’s Shazam! Fury of the Gods. He will next be seen in a reboot of the classic film, River Wild, alongside Leighton Meester and Taran Killam. In 2020, Brody was seen in the Academy Award nominated crime thriller, “Promising Young Woman,” and was featured in the award-winning miniseries, “Mrs. America.”
The Untitled Erin Foster Comedy Series is created by Erin Foster. Executive producers are Erin Foster, Steven Levitan, Craig DiGregorio, Kristen Bell, Sara Foster and Danielle Stokdyk. Oly Obst and Josh Lieberman are executive producers for 3arts. The series is produced by Disney’s 20th Television in association with Steven Levitan Productions.
While Disney has mainly been focusing on making content for its own linear and streaming networks, it has recently returned to making shows for other networks, such as “Criminal Minds” and “True Lies”, in a way of making additional revenue for its studio.
