Just ahead of Disney’s Upfront presentation in New York, where the company is trying to woo advertisers to spend money for the upcoming new season, ABC has released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming drama series, “High Potential”.

The series has been created by Oscar-nominated writer Drew Goddard and based on the popular French series. The crime procedural stars the incomparable Kaitlin Olson as Morgan, a single mom with an exceptional mind whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective.

The series stars Kaitlin Olson, “High Potential” follows a single mom with an exceptional mind, whose unconventional knack for solving crimes leads to an unusual and unstoppable partnership with a by-the-book seasoned detective (Daniel Sunjata). Based on the popular French series “Haut Potentiel Intellectuel (HPI),” “High Potential” stars Kaitlin Olson as Morgan, Daniel Sunjata as Karadec, Javicia Leslie as Daphne, Deniz Akdeniz as Lev “Oz” Osman, Amirah J as Ava, Matthew Lamb as Elliot and Judy Reyes as Selena.

“High Potential” is produced by ABC Signature, a part of Disney Television Studios. Drew Goddard and Sarah Esberg executive produce for Goddard Textiles. Rob Thomas serves as showrunner and executive produces alongside Dan Etheridge of Spondoolie Productions, as well as Pierre Laugier and Anthony Lancret of Itinéraire Productions, a UGC company and Jean Nainchrik of Septembre Productions, a Mediawan Company. Alethea Jones is director and executive producer. Kaitlin Olson serves as producer.

The upcoming series will premiere on ABC later this Fall and will air at 10pm on Monday nights, after “Dancing With The Stars”. New episodes will also be released on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ the following day. With this series being created by ABC Signature Studios, I’d also expect this show to be released as a Star Original on Disney+ internationally, though no release details have yet been announced.
