When Matt’s estranged daughter Riley, who is played by Kat Denning, who is now divorced and forced to move back in with her dad’s house, along with her two teenage kids.
Deadline has revealed that ABC has picked the project up and it will now be turned into a series, which will also star Daryl “Chill” Mitchell as Stitch, Maxwell Simkins as Carter and Barrett Margolis as Georgia.
Mike Scully and Julie Thacker Scully wrote the pilot and were executive producers on the project. However, they will no longer be working on the project moving forward, so Tim Allen has been looking for a replacement showrunner for weeks.

Also executive producing and directing the series is John Pasquin, who has previously worked on “Home Improvement” and “The Santa Clauses”. Both Kat Denning and Tim Allen will also be executive producers on the show.
